Possibly on page 5 of that issue is what JB is referring to.

JB, if it isn't a spoiler, about how much time has passed since the Phoenix first appeared? Has Jean been down in Jamaica Bay as long as a year?

Three Christmases, plus a few months.

(In comics, Xmas is usually used as a “topical reference” of the season when the story is published. Here, I am using past Xmas references as indicating real time.)

I'm thinking you're right, Brian - it's something I hadn't thought about too much since it seemed like even Claremont forgot it, judging by dialogue in #100! (Funny enough, I was reading that issue just a week ago, and I had thought to myself how a certain interaction between 2 characters seemed 'off', given the facts of #94).

If I recall correction, those three Christmases are

1) The approaching Christmas when Jean was captured by the Sentinels and Phoenix arrived.

2) I believe there was a second Christmas somewhere between the X-Men fighting Magneto in Antarctica (afterwards the team split up, eaching thinking the other had died) and their "world trip" to Japan and Canada before arriving back home.  I don't have my issues in front of me, but I think its referenced sometime then.

3) The Christmas which Kitty spent alone and attacked by the N'garai demon.

John, I know you were quickly turned off by the writing in SPACE:1999 but seeing that underground corridor beneath the ruins of the mansion, I was struck how it might almost double for my memory of the clean lines of a Moonbase Alpha hallway. Forgetting the content, did you appreciate the look of that show?

I love the idea of a Jahf / Pablo friendship. A kid having trouble emotionally could do a lot worse than a member of the Shi'ar Imperial Guard as his "big brother." It's nice to see this calm side of Jahf after all that terrible strife. He could probably use a friend right now, too.

Don't screw this up, Logan!
