To Dave Phelps, apologies, this was a cut & paste to some deep Star
Wars friends.

Yes, you got those abbreviations correct - those were the first two
stories that allowed progression with consequences beyond Return of
the Jedi.

I really didnít realise I had used so many abbreviations. Iíll try not to
next time.

Detective Comics # 1027 - An enjoyable celebration of Batman.

The Immortal Hulk # 37 - Still Marvel's best title.

Captain America # 23 - Tried giving the series another chance. Just boring.

I enjoyed most of DETECTIVE COMICS #1027. I liked the new IRON MAN #1 more than I expected to. BATMAN is so much better now than it was during the Tom King years that I'm not inclined to criticize it too hard anyway, but I really am enjoying "Joker War." The Cyclops story in MARVELS SNAPSHOT was really, really good. And THE IMMORTAL HULK remains my favorite Marvel title (DAREDEVIL is a solid #2).

I liked the Cyclops story as well, Adam. I feel Iron Man has a lot of potential and Cantwell did one thing that made me happy: He broke up Janet Van Dyne and Tony Stark. When I tried Slott's run, that just felt like fan fiction to me (unfortunately, much of Slott's recent writing leaves me feeling that way).
