Maybe I'm just a skeptic, but Trump won't see a day in jail. Hopefully, at best, I fear, if charged in any way it might disqualify him to run for office again. But that's likely the worst thing he'll get for his crimes. Some people really are above the law, sadly.

Fun fact: With Amazon's purchase of MGM Studios, Jeff
Bezos will control all the Apprentice episodes and
recordings.

Not if he holes up in Mar-A-Lago. Florida doesn’t allow extradition to
other states.

Incorrect.  I looked it up:  Florida has adopted the Uniform Criminal Extradition Act (UCEA) and is NOT considered to be a “non-extradition state.”

According to my right wing Twitter feed, libs have a deranged obsession with Donald Trump and need to move on. The same people also insist Donald Trump is America's Rightful President and will not rest until justice is restored.

"Not if he holes up in Mar-A-Lago. Florida doesn’t allow extradition to

just an FYI. No one can "refuse" an extradition. If he [or anyone for that matter] refuses to waive an extradition, the local agency can request what's called  a Governor's Warrant -- and that's only *IF* he's in custody in another state. What would more than likely happen is that should Trump be indicted, he would be requested to turn himself in for arraignment, and should he decline, a warrant of arrest would be served, to the local authorities empowering  them to arrest him. He'd then  be placed into custody and then brought to the issuing court for arraignment.  This us usually only reserved for Felonies though.

There is yuge risk until he's in exile, or even less likely, in prison... and even then I'm sure it'd be a right to have access to this great 'social media' of today! Many are as busy as ever currying the favor of the billionaire victim.

If you ever have thought maybe the justice system was written by and for crooks, well, I have some news for ya...

If he goes to prison, as opposed to home detention, he won't be allowed personal electronics. He wouldn't be able to resist going online, which would tip off everyone that he's violating prison policies... and that'd be the end of that real quick, along with the careers of the guards who helped him.

And John is right: Florida can pass all the laws it wants, it cannot refuse to extradite Trump for court proceedings or incarceration in New York State. Extradition is not up to the states.

That would be great news if they deny internet access to people in prisons!

Trump likely has a nice palatial nest already being prepared in Belarus or Saudi Arabia or somesuch is how I expect things are. Now about those much needed conflict of interest laws and the representatives willing to enforce them even on their own party members... because there is no Planet Democrat or Planet Republican. Like Curtis Mayfield sang, "if there's a hell below we're all gonna go". Get of jail free cards are only available in Monopoly board games, even the Vatican gift shop stopped selling them.

Trump apparently genuinely thinks he's going to be ofically reinstated in August, because the MyPillow guy said so. Will this never end?

It's going to be a needlessly stressful Summer, as he starts out on his rallies again and pumps his fresh, steaming shit into the news cycle and injects it right into his Q-lievers' spinal cords.
