As the great Charlie Brown once (or twice) said, good grief!

I'm 50/50 on hoping for an "interlude" page tomorrow.

In fairness to all of you, I suppose I should warn that things are about to get “choppy”, with overlapping moments happening at more or less the same time.

JB, all of this talk about panels colored red reminds me of a story you told back in the letters pages of JBNM.

You had drawn Jasmine in the operating room, and asked the colorist to use gray instead of building to an all red panel, and a friend who saw the printed issue before you did said something along the lines of "Hey, I thought you decided against the red kill shot..." as a joke.

Am I recalling that correctly or has Father Time started messing around with my memory?

The fact that this series is not colorized makes it more jarring when color is used - this does a great job emphasizing the drama of the panel

Ouch. I FELT Wolverine's pain, intensified by the red panel!
Boy, not giving any break to the Canadian, eh?!?

If this storyline happened back then, good thing it'd be before Wolverine had his own solo series, or the editors would have some serious figuring out to do!

I don't really have anything to add except to say this
issue is off the charts good.

Great use of the red. Glad I read this later in the day to see it that way first.

Woah!

Also... ngaahhh, ngaahhh, ngaahhh! :^O

Wolverine wouldn't need new red or white blood cells produced because his mutant 'power' is the healing factor that made it possible for his skeletal system to be replaced.

He was already struggling after healing from the brain injury and now this. :^(

I'm having a flashback of Flesh And Bones in Spider-Woman now...

Exactly the point I made at the time. I was no longer involved with Wolverine, but I didn’t want to see the character mangled by arbitrary editorial policies.
