Jabari,

I am very familiar with the "divine right of kings" - but in constitutional monarchies - where Parliament is in fact supreme, it's rare to find a monarch these days who would dare make a total fool of themselves by claiming "GOD put them on the throne."

Well she's not saying that publicly. But I wouldn't be surprised if that's how she privately feels. I'm sure Charles thinks so too. Maybe William's over that sort of thing, but who knows?
