Hey all! Sorry I was absent from this thread for so long--my daughter had a concert and audition up in NJ, so we were gone the whole weekend. My phone refused to load the JBF as well (some weird error message, I don't know) so I couldn't check in.
First-
thanks, JB! I appreciate the response. 
Second-
yeah, I wasn't really fond of how Scott was written after JB left X-Men. I thought it was possible he was shading Cyclops in favor of characters he liked better (e.g.., Storm) but have no way of reading Mr. Claremont's mind to know.
Third-
I'm glad writers lately have sought to reestablish Scott as a major character again. The X-MEN 97 cartoon has been very good on that score, but the recent X-titles have also burnished his rep quite a bit.

Thanks to everyone who commented. I'm happy that my favorite X-Man is getting the respect he deserves, after what felt like much too long in the "feet of clay" dungeon.
