Continuing with the LEGO ‘66 Batmobile. A fun build, overall, but I confess a growing disappointment that the various bricks do not truly lend themselves to the smooth curves of the real car. It may be because of my intimate familiarity with the Futura.

Now that all the restoration work is “finished” I am reassembling the LEGO room.

Discovering all the models, sitting in drawers, untouched by human hands for months, have been FALLING APART!!

And something I have discovered about Lego--when they come apart they do not go back together!!!

Surprised there's been no mention of the soon to release Lego X-Men mansion. (Or maybe there has, and I've just missed the post on it.)

Over 3000 pieces to it apparently. But hey, you could just build it part way and pretend it's one of the many times the schools been wrecked!

After missing this when it came out, I have finally managed
to get an Eaglemoss Spacedock for normal price.
Found in a Cash Converters of all places.

Still unable to load images for some reason. But it is a
gorgeous piece, trust me.

Found a neat Funko Pop 1966 Batman and Joker set. Had to search for an image I could zoom in on. Found one and, yep, the Joker has a mustache.

sigh

I suppose there’d be complaints from some dark corners if he didn’t!!!

A quick google turns up scores of fans declaring how much they “love” the backstory on the mustache.

(Caesar Romero refused to shave, declaring the mustache too much a part of his “identity”. Phffft! It was such a whisp of a thing it would have grown back in a week!)

Singer, song
Both have a part to play, but some aspects are more important than others.
Not sure why the ‘singers’ never get that.

In all roles in a production.
Saw the teaser for the live action How to train your dragon a day or so ago.
Looks like this will be a frame accurate recreation of the animation.
Why not be daring, & use this opportunity to adapt the books?
I love the films, but I’d love to see someone actually adapt the books
properly. I’d say the films have about 1 to 5% of the books in them.
