Near as I can tell, the only thing about it that's even remotely Black
Canary would be the fishnets, and maybe the fact that she's singing.
Sweet pinup style figure though - just not BC.

CONCEPT ART: Bowen Designs Original Western Ghost Rider Statue by Randy Bowen. If you want to see this Marvel Comics Western character made, please vote in the poll here: http://www.statuemarvels.com/f87/concept-art-bowen-designs-o riginal-western-ghost-rider-statue-randy-bowen-25444.html

Please get the word out! Ghost Rider isn't a major Marvel character, like Wolverine, so to get this produced, we are going to need to get the support of all the Original Ghost Rider fans out there!

Thanks!

From the first, those DC Bombshells Statues have perplexed me.  They're supposed to be in the style of 40s & 50s pinups, but Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Black Canary were all created in the 40s & 50s.  Why not, then, just use their actual original costumes?

Not the point of the exercise, it would seem. These statues appear to be exploring the notion of the characters actually having been created as "pin-ups" -- the kind of pictures that decorated the walls of quonset huts and aircraft during WW2. So a straightforward representation of the costumes the character wore originally would defeat the exercise.

Just be glad nobody has decided to do a series imagining if the ladies had all been created as 90s porn stars!

Regardless, that Black Canary is sexy as hell, yet still classy. Whoever did it did a fantastic job.

Like I said, for the vintage represented, a tattoo immediately takes her out of the "classy" realms. This gal would be singing in a dockside bar, not at the Ritz Ballroom.

I suppose that would have been the case in the 40's. Still, compared to the soft core porn concepts of today, that thing radiates class.

Uh, The Elongated (Wonder) Woman?!

Supposedly, this is based upon the Wonder Woman from the animated JUSTICE LEAGUE WAR video...

Well, I finally get close to breaking down and picking up that 1/350 Polar Lights USS Enterprise kit...

And then, this shows up on the Cosmo-Radar:
