I've really been impressed by this series of BTAS collectable figures… and now they added the animated Batmobile!!!
Definitely on my wish list!!

I'll be getting the B:TAS figures and that snazzy Batmobile... but I've got the first series in package still and I've heard several reports about how delicate and easily damaged the figures are, which means I'm likely keeping them boxed, which means the Batmobile will never have a driver or a passenger if I get it.
I wish DC Direct would have better quality control on their figures. If they haven't improved within a couple series I'll just cancel my standing order for them and get rid of the ones I have, and then the Batmobile will be completely irrelevant.

A problem with the B:TAS figures are the legs. Over time, they will bend due to the heavier torso.

I was in De Serres (art store) the other day and saw this on display.
It seems to be made by Schleich, the same people who made all those Smurf toys. In addition to the Flash, they seem to have Green Lantern, as well as Superman and Batman in 3 different action poses each. Costumes seem to be based on "New 52"
Not sure if I will get them, still thinking about it, but thought I would share in case no one else has seen them yet.

The One:12 Dark Knight is an intriguing idea, but boy is it ugly.*********** I'd say it captures Frank Miller's style perfectly. Guess you'd have to be a fan to appreciate the work put in to capture that.

Hello! I came across this item in my collection and it renewed all of my old questions about what company manufactured it and whether or not there are any others like it in the world. As I recall, I picked it up at an Ace Hardware (!) in the early 80's. There were other characters in the display as well, Batman and Bugs Bunny being the two that come to mind, but I did not save the packaging and the item itself has no manufacturer or copyright date anywhere on it that I could find...
Does this look familiar to anyone and can you provide any information on it? Thank you.

Aw man, I'm totally letting you down by not remembering the name of those things. I can tell you that they made a larger Super Friends set where you could even make a picture of Wonder Dog.
I've seen it from time to time on ebay...usually while looking for vintage Super Friends crap...

Had to find room for this!
1938 Hispano-Suiza, 1/18 scale. Forgot to put my glasses on the counter next to it, for scale, but it's about a foot long.
