Hello! I came across this item in my collection and it renewed all of my old questions about what company manufactured it and whether or not there are any others like it in the world. As I recall, I picked it up at an Ace Hardware (!) in the early 80's. There were other characters in the display as well, Batman and Bugs Bunny being the two that come to mind, but I did not save the packaging and the item itself has no manufacturer or copyright date anywhere on it that I could find...
Does this look familiar to anyone and can you provide any information on it? Thank you.

The name of this product escapes me as well. I do remember that my mom used to get these for me through Tupperware parties back in the early 70s. Hope that helps.

Curiosity got the best of me so I did a search and found this:
I recall having some that were more complex than this. Nothing like that Wonder Woman, though.
Edited to add: The size of those pieces makes me think that these would no longer be considered safe by today's standards.

Thad, thank you. One more piece for the puzzle. Looking into it, the Tupperware-distributed SnaPics that you mention were apparently sold as far back as the 60's. I wonder if they were still being sold in the late 70's-early 80's when I bought the kit I have. The name doesn't ring a bell. Did SnaPics sell the molds, I wonder, to some other company, ala' the Micronauts and the Inter-Changeables lines of toys...? Thanks again, Thad!

JB, that's awesome! My wife and I took our nephew to a natural history museum this weekend and we were marveling at the "brontosaurus" bones they had on display which of course made me think of your museum worthy specimen.

Picked up wave 2 from DC Colectibles' Animated Batman line.
BTAS Robin, Joker, Man-Bat.
The Man-Bat box is frikkin' huge! Arms spread in the display and comes with an extra pair of 'relaxed' arms.
