Well... We've seen Figma versions of classic sculptures like The Thinker, Venus de Milo, and Michangelo's David...

Now, we get an action figure of Edvard Munch's The Scream:

And, comes with a few accessories for possible silly poses...

Was just about to post such a thing.

Other than Alien and Predator, I can't think where they'll go with this. Sure, there can be variants, but thinking they'd run out of ideas, and start scraping the bottom of the barrel, very quickly.

Apologies for the cynicism. ;-)

The first ALIEN vs PREDATOR and PREDATORS added a whole roster of variants to the Predator race. The differences might be hard to see at such a small scale, tho!

(Speaking of small scale, I received the First Doctor figure in the DOCTOR WHO series the other day, and it's totally off-scale with the six or seven others I have received.)

Oh, I agree Robbie.

From looking at the video there will be all the Alien variants, lots of different Predators, marines in various poses, crew of the Nostromo - in and out of space suits, and probably lots of others.

These things usually run to about 75 issues so lots of figures no one might be interested in I think - crew of the Betty anyone?

I can imagine being interested in certain variants. My experience of such collections shows that they eventually go for the obscure. There was a James Bond car collection here years ago - and after many, many issues, they featured the milk truck from THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS!

Same with superhero figurines, the definition of "classic" was stretched quite early on.

There are a few I am interested in, but if they run for dozens and dozens of issues, how soon before we get a random drug dealer from PREDATOR 2? ;-)

James: Bill, have you ordered the Mirror Universe Enterprise?

***

Me: Nope. Just sticking with the main NCC-1701 continuity ones.

Okay... So, I half lied.

I didn't order it, but my local shop had a customer who did and didn't pick it up for some reason, so I ended up helping them out.

Bill, well done. I like their original Enterprise models. Have you heard about the slightly larger ones? They look nice but the price tag is hearty - £50 each which is way out of my price range.

James, I saw the 11" die-cast USS Enterprise from Eaglemoss offered in the latest Diamond Previews...

Tempting, but since 2017 is also the launch of the Yamato 2202 series in Japan, my budget is going to stretched with that impending Bandai import blitz...

So, the same scale as the Polar Lights model kits, then. Of which I have many!
