Dear JB and Everybuddy,
I just purchased (along with a few other things) this WONDER WOMAN movie Barbie doll - does this not look a LOT like a JB Wonder Woman?? From the pose to the, hairstyle, legs/feet, etc.?

Greg: From what I've seen, it looks like the large Enterprise is about the same size (about 11" long) as the Polar Lights 1/1000 model kit. It looks to be less accurate, but the upside is that it's pre finished, and has die-cast metal construction.

Finally had time to unbox mine and check it out:
Basically, an up-sized version of the previously released Eaglemoss TOS USS Enterprise, with more detailing. I really like it, but the nitpicker in me noticed some of the tiny windows didn't get fully painted
in.
The die-cast metal does give it a nice heft, which leads to a concern about the stand. The clear plastic piece inserts into the base by a single peg, which does allow a little wobbling if the ship is touched. It balances fine when left alone, but given how top-heavy the whole thing is, I suspect a good tremor or an accidental bump will knock it over and onto the floor. For now, it goes back into the box for safekeeping.

Unboxed the Nendoroid Darth Vader, Imperial Stormtrooper, and First Order Stormtrooper today (the first two were reissued for ROGUE ONE).
While Vader came with enough accessories for a variety of poses (2 different types of capes), just trying to get him into the pose shown above required a total disassembly and head to toe rebuild. Otherwise, pieces of him would fall off while you were tweaking the position of an arm, or leg. He's great once you get him posed the way you want, but putting him into a new one may require more free time on my part.

A new classic Iron Man statue from Diamond Select. Inexpensive as well at about $40 US.
Looks even better with a small light in the base.

I already had the first release of the Sci-Fi Revoltech Thunderbird 2.
At a recent convention, picked up the limited-run metallic green color version.
I've also had a number of S.H. Figuarts Ultraman characters enter my collection, but not sure if that is of any interest here.
