I found a link on eBay for a '66 TV Batmobile pedal car that looked pretty cute. Since I'm obsessive (it seems) about owning every possible version of this ghost of the Lincoln Futura, I asked Jim Warden to use the "Buy Now" function and get it for me. My Xmas present to myself.Jim, however, read deeper into the description than I had, and discovered what was being offered was just an unpainted shell. Boo!!

Speaking of the '66 Batcar, I just ordered from Amazon a 1:18 scale diecast version. Now I have to wait a few days to see if they really mean diecast, as in metal. The description was not altogether clear.

I "guess" I don't have to save for it anymore. The wifey purchased this for me as an early Christmas present! Joyous!

Just surfed into a segment on PAWN STARS where they were dealing with a meteorite from the same Argentinian fall as mine. (pg 916)Added a few scraps of info.

At an appropriate distance...
About as secular as I can get. I surround this display with such Xmas cards as arrive. Like the first one, at right. From my Jewish doctor!

Indulged myself in a 48 inch Batman. Came with a really crummy cape, however, so I checked Amazon and found a much better one intended for an adult costume.
Had to leave him standing in the cardboard base, to be sure he doesn't constantly fall over.

Nice! I Googled to see the original cape, and it does look pretty flimsy and cheap. The one you found looks much better!
