Mike Baswell, thanks for the heads up on Robby the Robot and The Iron Giant. I picked up Robby today and I love it. No Iron Giant at my local Wal-Mart this time but I intend to shop around and find one.

I recently found all of the Funko POP! Fantastic Four figures, plus Dr. Doom, at a local retailer. The FF is positioned on a bookshelf along with She-Hulk. Sure wish I had the patience and skill to paint her black & white FF uniform. It’s not the same era as the rest of the squad, but to me she’s part of the team. I thought for sure there was an FF version of Jennifer available.

I went from having dozens of toys at work to relatively little now that I'm based in our corporate office. The CEO frowns on anything not work related on our desks for some strange reason (hell, I had to make friends with the IT guys just to get byrnerobotics off the company no-no website list).
Does whatever a Guardian can! I...ah...toyed with the idea of gluing his foot to the monitor post so he's flying, but that would not go over well if discovered.

********* There isn't, but the purple version follows the same lines that JB gave her costume. Painting it and adding the 4 wouldn't be too difficult.

I have plenty negative to say about Todd McFarlane's work in various respects, but I do like his action figures. His new DC figures are no exception.

Continuing the addiction to Funko POP! figures, switching genres to order a whole raft of bobble heads of the characters from SILICON VALLEY and COMMUNITY, plus a "Sean Connery" James Bond in a POP-ized Aston Martin.

Does Bond's car have an "Eject"? Growing up in North America, when I first had the toy I was always confused as to why the eject tossed out the driver until I saw the movie at a later age.

Brett Stuart, keep searching. It was the other way around for me. I was on my third Walmart before I found my Robby. Iron Giants were everywhere.

The only Funko POP! figure I have outside of comic book characters is a Vegas Elvis I purchased at Graceland. That Sean Connery Bond has me thinking it might be time to spread my wings a little more. Most of the athlete figures have no appeal to me, but yesterday I saw a Max Scherzer, my current favorite baseball player, with the different-colored eyes. It’s now a must-have for me. I’ve looked for two of my other favorites, Johnny Bench and Larry Bird, to no avail. There is a Roger Staubach and a local kid currently playing for the Cowboys, so there is some hope for me. Not for my wallet, though.

Very Tempting to get this POP! liking the Connery eyebrows too.
You expect me to talk? No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.

There are POPs of some other Bonds, too (excluding Barry Nelson and the mob from the original movie version of CASINO ROYALE), tho they interest me not at all.
