Ken is awesome. I first met him at a Pittsburgh Comic Con (1994 I think) either right after the first or second issue of when he was drawing Excalibur came out. He was unannounced and wasn't wear a name tag but was doodling at his table. I literally stopped and said that he drew a lot like this new guy named Ken Lashley. He then informed me that is who he was! About 5 minutes later I was commissioning a piece from him. =)
It was a beauty of Colossus and Kitty Pryde (didn't charge me either). Unfortunately, it is also one of the commissions that was in the portfolio I had stolen a decade or so ago. Here in the near future Ken is doing a new piece for me. Should be great!

Got this Broderick Micronauts page at the Chicago Comicon.
Sadly, at the same con I had this page lost or stolen. And the only reason I had it there was to get it signed by Broderick, who was a no-show. :(

Lloyd if you start posting Buscema Hulk pages as frequently as you post jealousy-inducing Superman pages I will......have to....do something.....drastic.....like ignore this thread I guess.

Thanks guys! I've been wanting to get a definitive Sal Buscema Hulk page, and I'm very excited about this one! I especially like Sal's inks over his own pencils. It may just be my untrained eye, but I detect a hint of maybe Joe Kubert's influence that I don't think I've ever noticed before.And Joe, my wife informs me that due to the undue stress this is causing you that I will need to place a moratorium on new art---strictly for your benefit of course :)
