The previous from Darwyn Cooke's version of the Hunter, the next is from his version of The Outfit.

Next up was Faith Erin Hicks, who does some small press books, but had a story in Marvel's Girl Comics, issue 2 i think.

Lastly, two from an artist i discovered recently, Caanan Grall, originally from Australia, now living here in NS.  He does a lot of online comics, but had a book published through DC's Zuda imprint, Celadore, a really fun book.

It will likely be awhile until I have scans of my art pick ups from Detroit Fanfare and next week's MidOhioCon so in the meantime, here's the piece I picked up from Keith Pollard this weekend in Detroit (he sent me a scan):

Thanos vs The Beyonder!  When I told him I was there to pick up the Thanos vs Beyonder piece for some reason he didn't feel the need to check my I.D.

The Beyonder has just a great outfit.  Pollard is always good as well.  Nice pick up!

Michael says "Hal-Con in Halifax,  Nova Scotia is still going on today, but i only went yesterday.  The only comic people due to be there were Mike Golden and Joe Jusko, but they "cancelled" for reasons I am still unsure of.  Luckily, my local comic shop Strange Adventures brought in some local guys to do some sketches, plus i came across a name from the past that was at a small table by himself."

I am glad that I did not attend.  It would have been disappointing.  They were like the two most "famous" comic book artists invited at the show, weren't they?

Michael Golden put out a statement to the media about his absence.

"Due to unfortunate scheduling conflicts, I was unable to attend Hal-Con this year, but I look forward to attending in the future.  In the meantime I trust that the comic book fans in Halifax and throughout Nova Scotia will keep in mind that patience is a virue."

Sebastian,
Jusko had a death in the family, which is why he cancelled his appearance.
