Yeah, i had heard about Joe's relative only on Friday.  Even still, they cancelled them about 3 weeks out.  It sounded odd at the time.  After that, the biggest name comic artist at the show was Darwyn Cooke, who came in because my local shop is on great terms with him.

Hey gang,

I've got a small dilemma--a piece of art I bought just came in and has a very noticeable 'bend' in the paper. It's not a hard crease, though.

Any surefire way to flatten it?

Thanks!

Steve Epting and Tom Palmer did this painted cover for Avengers 375, and Joe Rubinstein recreated it for me in b&w with gray toned wash.

Very nice, Christos, a friend of mine pointed that out to me a couple weeks ago, didn't realize it was yours.

I LOVE the Epting Avengers and this recreation is a great homage.

Grey tones and washes make the best art, IMHO.

Wow. Timm captured the essence of the Simon Garth Zombie dead-on.... in what I'd imagine was a quick sketch. Blows my mind...
