Re: wall-space - I've actually began rotating the pieces on the "original art wall". Time to spread into the bedroom, now...then, the kids' room, then...

OK, now I have a reason to go to Paris!! The Art,Architecture, and just the history of that city are great reasons to go. To learn there are indeed comic shops in Paris makes me want to go more!!
It'd be a real kick to visit and go to a Parisian cafe.Imagine everyone else reading the news or Saytre. Then you see me sitting there drinking a coke while reading a comic.

Those are two nice pages you have there Lloyd. I would love to get my hands on a nice Adventure page with Aquaman.

I thought I'd share a scan of a work-in-progress from Brent Anderson, who's doing an X-Men sketch in the end pages of one of my bound volumes: You can check out a larger scan and background on the piece here: http://kraalo.blogspot.com/

Hey, that looks great! I always forget that I need something from Brent Anderson.
but I'm amazed/curious... did he draw a grid first? That's different...

yes, that's definitely a cross hatching grid. I think he did the prelim on a separate piece of paper, so he's probably using the grid to make sure that it transfers to the book in the right proportions.
