I planned to commission something from Ernie Chan this year and he made it extra easy for me by offering this for sale on his ComicArtFans page! I had to snatch it up. Hulk is definitely the character I associate most with Chan and I love the child-like Hulk of the 1970s. Looks like he found a friend here in this one.

Cool! I really enjoyed getting to meet Ernie at the Pittsburgh show last year. I have a couple from him as well. Loved his Batman work in the 70's.
BUT... yours needs more Man Thing.

Ah, but look what I found in my in-box this morning!
That's a Marvel Team-Up 68 reimagining by Howard the Duck co-creator Val Mayerik! Highest possible recommendation for dealing with Mr. Mayerik!

Next time Christopher Walken does SNL they need to do a sketch where he keeps telling the Marvel Bullpen the comics "need more Man Thing".
I see a new catch-phrase.
Nice one for the collection. That's a big deal in the world of Man Thing art!

Sweet Thing page! Is that Sinnott inks? Beautiful stuff.
Joe, that Ernie Chan Hulk is extraordinary - do my eyes deceive me, or is that kid Porky-Piggin' it?
