@Jim Muir - LOL - good one!

Pasting photographs into comics almost never works and you can always tell it's a photo and not 'art'. Really distracting too.

Looks like it's from Serenity: Better Days #1.  Shows how much I paid attention to all the art in the book, I read it last week.

My 2 favorite oversights are characters with 2 right hands, or hands with all 4 fingers (except the thumb) at the same lenght.

Jim Muir, that's too funny.

I remember an interview with Joss Whedon that dealt with the special effects
on Firefly. He mentioned that, initially, he had to constantly battle the CGI
guys to tone down the space scenes. He would ask for a simple shot of a
Satellite against a black sky, and the animators would come back with a sky
filled with nebulae and twinkling lights.

It's unfortunate that he didn't have the same level of control over the comic
that he had over the TV show.

We are breeding a generation of people who will be really, really, really let down when commercial space travel becomes a reality! All these false-color images NASA keeps giving us, to make the Hubble space photos look more interesting. Is there any wonder some folk think the moonwalk pictures were faked because you can't see stars in the sky?

When I first read M****l's 'Amazing Spider-Man Index' in the mid-80s, I learned that background inks often went uncredited until the late '70s. Dave Hunt did quite a few 'ASM' stories, and the index mentioned that he used to write his name (or at least part of it!) on billboards as part of his background inks.

I enjoyed looking through some of my back issues from that era, finding where he'd put his latest  BKG HUN notice.
