...I have noticed an almost immediate and profound change in him . For the past several years he has been sounding more and more like a frail little old man -- and that sound is gone. His voice is strong again, there is a definite lilt in his tone, and I can almost imagine him standing straighter.
The same thing happened to my grandfather after my grandmother died almost two years ago. At that time he was shuffling, and his voice was weak, and after my grandmother passed, now you talk to him and it is like a completely different person, or at least more like the way he used to be.
