This was "backstory" that Chris and I might or might not
have revealed outright.

Well looks like he decided to reveal it in "Forever" the
title of that issue with Wolverine's charred skeleton is
"Comes the Father".

"Sabretooth in fact was an early doodle I had done for a new Wolverine
costume, long before I came to do UNCANNY."

----

Which is interesting, since right after Jim Lee put Wolverine back in the football team uniform, he gave Sabretooth a variation of the Wolverine costume you gave him!

Chris tends to reveal things. It has a lot to do with something I read a long time ago about Alfred Hitchcock. It was said he worked out every detail of his movies in storyboards and notes, so that by the time he got to filming, he was bored because he'd already "made" the movie in his head. Chris doesn't get bored, but he does tend to skip important scenes because he's already done them in his head. And that can lead to reveals of things that should not be revealed.

Psylocke looks like she's listening to the hilt of that sword.

I think the reveal has something to do with Sabertooth
joining the X-men, hopefully he doesn't skip any important
scenes to explain how that's supposed be possible. I'd like
to see him succeed but I think he may lose with his
handling of Wolverine and Sabertooth in this book.

Has anyone ever heard any speculation about Wolverine's mother? JB, any plans or ideas about her?

Just the THOUGHT of the stories that may come out of the can of worms you just pried opened is absolutely TERRIFYING Jeff.

I had thoughts about a Native Canadian woman, but that was about as far as
it went. Based on our guesstimated age for Logan, and when we were
working on UNCANNY, he would have been born some time in the late
1920s, which was still very much frontier time for the Canadian West.

I bought and read X-MEN FOREVER #1 today. Did Storm and/or Kitty
sound a little out of character to you?

Before we have a major thread drift, let me remind everyone that X-MEN FOREVER is being discussed at length HERE.
