Finished HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS so it's back to the Kindle for me at work and probably the John Carter books.

Supergods by Grant Morrison (highly recommended)

A Clash of Kings by George RR Martin (trying to finish before the April 1 premiere on HBO)

It by Stephen King (a long, slow slog)

Clearing the Way (a not terribly well written memoir of Canadian sappers in Afghanistan; but it's history written by the people who were there)

The Sunday Macaroni Club by Steve Lopez (former Philadelphia Inquirer columnist, currently writing for the L. A. Times)...a thinly veiled, fictionalized account of local Philly politics.

Busy reading week.  I finished The Snowman by Jo Nesbo.  Then my sister loaned me The Hunger Games on my kindle app for the IPad.  She has done this twice now so I finally agreed to give it a try and read it all on Wednesday.  So she sent me book 2 on Thursday and I read it that evening.  I finished book 3 this morning.  Very compelling story.  It is a young adult series so the story is swear and sex free which I didn't mind. Apparently there is a movie coming out next month.  I may go see it to compare as I did with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.  Back to Jo Nesbo with The Devil's Star.  Scandinavian thriller writer whose stories  are translated into English.  I like him a lot.
