I can never figure out why they chose to replace the granite block lettering - which I like a LOT - with the more generic font for the title in subsequent issues. Din't like that decision for their FF book either. Another type of "inconsistency" I can't account for.

With TV (and I'm hoping comic books) It used to be that you had a character bible that came with the series. It touched upon key aspects of the character, outfit, powers, and other important notes that was intended to provide consistency to the book.

However, it seems to me that all that gets tossed out the door in the name of "writer's artistic integrity." They shape the character to fit their stories and don't care about what condition they leave the sandbox in when they depart.
