There's one gigantic hoop Christans of all stripes seem able to jump thru: sure, the Jews and Judas (redundant, I know) were "only following orders," but they had free will, and could have chosen to disobey those orders!

It's a shame Judas didn't use that free will. All this could have been avoided.
But, no, SOMEONE was needed. If it hadn't been Judas, it'd have had to have been someone else - let's call him Robbie - doing the necessary thing to keep the 'divine' plan going.
Don't they see the hypocrisy and lack of logic in this position?
