And now, in true transparently brazen Trump fashion, he is launching lawsuits to stop counts in states that he is narrowly ahead, while wanting counts to continue in states where he is narrowly behind.

It'll be interesting* to read the Supreme Court decisions when they stop the recount in states Trump won but push through recounts in states Biden did. *dabbling in a little sarcasm, there.

One thing that this election has taught us is that Trump's appeal completely transcends his actions. People vote for who he is, not what he does. That's a scary level of loyalty.

Yeah, I think Trump's whole thing about calling out the legitimacy of the election is less because he doesn't accept how voting works -- I actually think he knows full well how it works -- but is more to do with getting his base riled up and have them crying foul. They are his pawns, and he doesn't care what happens to them as long as he can incite them to burn the place to the ground if he is made to leave office.

integrity and decency are limbo bars which he keeps sliding under, I hoped he was just trying to get attention by claiming he would sue to keep votes from being counted. Surely no one would be so brazen as to openly say they would interfere with their own presidential election. Not after public asking Russian to hack the 1st one, then it happening.
Wrong again.

Trump is as scared as a caged rat. The Presidency has exposed many of his shady practices and business dealings, many of which may have escaped some notice when not under the scrutiny that such a position brings. Luckily for him, that position also brings some immunity, despite what we've been told about nobody being above the law. Out of office, however, he stands more of a chance of having to literally pay for his crimes, and may even see prison time, though I think that's unlikely. Still, it's a questionable enough possibility that I think Trump is motivated to fight to hang onto his power, tooth and nail.

There was an interesting insight from an expert here (in France) who said that many people who voted for Trump did not in fact love him so much or condone all his shocking acts or crazy words but simply thought he was the best there was left to protect their way of life.

Interesting, Philippe!
Here in Spain, only far right voters and leaders support Trump.
A quick review of articles and comments on forums and news this week reveals that Spanish voters of VOX, the far right party, are already calling the election a fraud "because there were 100 000 more votes than voters in Wisconsin".
It's amazing and also entertaining to watch these people so sad and angry because Trump lost. Of course, a couple of them declare this "the end of the Western Civilization" as part of the global "Agenda 21" conspiracy.

Sadly, Philippe, hardcore Trump supporters actually do love the guy. I live in a so-called "Red State," and too many of his voters are really willing to justify anything he says or does. Trump won them through the cult of personality, as much as anything else, and they are now literally a cult. And, yes, some would actually die for him.

Wisconsin has a population of around 5.86 million people. Somewhere just around 3 million people have voted there in this election. Where is VOX getting its info on Wisconsin voters?

As an observer from Canada, I am very thankful of our election process.Very simple, fast and efficient. While I don't always agree with the outcome, we don't have the election circus that occurs in the U.S.

******
Not only that, many would kill for him.
Our county just made the official proclamation that we support Trump and will do whatever it takes to help him achieve victory. Never mind the fact that not everyone in the county voted for him. When he came here back in March after the tornadoes, you would’ve thought it was the second coming of Christ.
