I'm not sure we can ever count a Trump supporter out. These are the people still waiving the second flag of the confederate states as a banner for good rebellion.

What matters is that Trump will remembered as the biggest loser in US history. Once he leaves the WH & has nothing of substance to offer (power), his followers will become bored & move on.
What's really important is that the media abandons him as well.

Mitch McConnell has publicly acknowledged Joe Biden as President-elect, as well as Trump's puppeteer, Putin, so I think the Republicans in Congress will now fall in line and recognize Biden's win.

McConnell doesn't have to worry about re-election for another six years, and it's a reasonable bet that "disloyalty to Trump in 2020" won't be the foremost issue in that campaign. I think any Republicans who are up for re-election in two years are still going to be fearful of "falling in line" and acknowledging reality... particularly House members in extremely red districts.

News is now updated to report that McConnell is urging senators to NOT challenge the election results on January 6, 2021.
"...McConnell doesn't have to worry about re-election for another six years..."
McConnell is a HUGE P.O.S., but he is shrewd. And the Republican senators know that they will have to deal with him even after Trump leaves, so if McConnell sees no advantage politically in continuing this charade about Trump's winning, you can bet he will get many in his party in the Senate to do as he says to do. When Trump is out, it's he who will be the most powerful Republican in office, after all.

A Congressman from Michigan resigned from the GOP and declared himself an Independent because he didn't like that the Republicans weren't standing up to Trump over the voter fraud allegations.
Meanwhile, one of Trump's advisors is still trying to rig things in favor of Trump with `Alternate Electors', aka `Lets ignore the failed lawsuits and rig the election, anyway.'
And some Georgia attorney is claiming that Trump may prosecute Georgia's Governor and Attorney General for not overturning the election results.
Good idea. Lets just add to the lawsuits and criminal charges that Trump may face once he's out of office! What kind of punishment does a `malicious prosecution' conviction carry?

As I said awhile back, I won't feel truly at ease until 12:01 PM on January 20, 2021.

He's still not conceding. And we don't actually know how many millions of Trump supporters believe him. A few million? Tens of millions? Hundreds of millions? This is probably the most dangerous moment in American history.

All I know is, I cannot wait until we get the sweet, sweet Twitter silence due to Trump most likely being banned due to the very first post he makes as a private citizen. Then laughing if he tries to sue over it.
Cannot wait to see what inane bs the Trump sheep start posting on Facebook once Biden has been inaugurated.
(If the idiots keep trying to overturn the election once Biden is inaugurated, can that be considered treason?)

I deeply appreciate the time and attention to detail the Trump Library website went into. Just fantastic!
