All right... someone's gotta set me straight.
These assholes are finding tricks, loopholes, all sorts of malarkey to undo Biden's election.
But in the end, as of noon EST 2021-01-21, Joe Biden becomes president of the United States. At which point - they become seditionists and now not only need to prove Trump's winning, but far more importantly - they need to prove their innocence of sedition. And there's a LOT of evidence on camera and printed that's gone unchallenged since beginning of November.
I wish them no luck in their endeavors, prior or future. But I hope they find a country that'll take them. Because they sure as hell aren't welcome in the United States.

Besides sedition, its borderline treason.
The GOP seems to either be too arrogant or too stupid to care/realize they're igniting a storm of retaliation. Hopefully plenty of GOP get put out of office during the new round of midterm elections, because people who aren't diehard Republicans and can think for themselves remember how Trump and others have acted over this election and decide to take it out on the Republicans.
Trump more or less got in office in the first place because he wasn't Hillary Clinton, not because he's Donald Trump. Except for a few people I know who are sadly diehard Trump supporters, most people I know who voted for him the first time around did so because they wanted change, and ended up regretting it.
I really do hope that Trump is unable to run again in 2024, but if he does I expect him to lose by an even bigger margin than he did this time. People who aren't diehards are going to remember him being a sore loser, and vote accordingly.

Eric Sofer: "...These assholes are finding tricks, loopholes, all sorts of malarkey to undo Biden's election...."
This is semantics, I admit, but thankfully they aren't actually "finding" anything, but they sure are looking and trying everything they can to undo the election.

Matt, I suggest at least renaming this thread to clarify it’s the Trump presidency thread. We will probably need a whole new one for Biden.

Matt H. - Yeah, you're right. But if we shall play semantics, let us play at my table, my friend. I did post what you quoted - but at no point did I note that they have any success.
And yes, I especially included the word "malarkey." What can I say? I love the oldie goldies! ;)

While people may be right that in 2016 Trump got some of his votes because he wasn’t Clinton, you have to remember that more people voted for him in 2020 than in 2016.
Those 2016 voters may have regretted what they did, but for every one who walked away, @ least another replaced them.
He’s more popular now than he was then.
We would all do well to remember that.

We shouldn't take his popularity for granted, true. However...
More people voted this time, period, and Biden won, and by a larger margin in with the popular vote than Hillary did.

If Trump runs again, that same unprecedented enthusiasm to vote, that booted him out of office will need to be there to keep him out. I hope the country has it in them.

My point is, his supporters are NOT getting fed up with his antics. As Doug says, whether he gets re-elected or not, if he were to run, would not be dependent on his supporters.
It depends on people remembering how bad he was & acting on it.

I'm not counting on it, but hope Trump is in prison in four years.

One of Trump's stooges - a trade adviser - is falsely claiming that Pence can arbitrarily delay the inauguration. He's claiming that if they do the 10 day audit of election returns that some GOP senators are clamoring for, that they can put off the inauguration until its over.
I know Pence isn't insane enough to believe this crap. And this clearly another nut who hasn't read the 20th Amendment. But I would dearly love to see them attempt it, so I get my wish of seeing Trump literally being thrown out of the White House.
