The full hour+ of Trumps perfect, perfect call to the GA Secretary of State, which is totally exonerating in context.

Gad! This exit wound keeps getting horrifically larger... is there even going to be a head left on the body? I, like most, want very badly to close the door on this person and his supporters (why would anybody want them for theirs), but new depths keep getting pushed through the mail slot! WTF?

I would think that the phone call to the Georgia state officials would be evidence of attempted crime, you know, in case the one to the Ukrainians weren't enough. The old Karl Rove playbook of accusing your opponent most loudly and often of the things you are far more guilty of still seems to be in the play book for many, alongside "we want them infected" (talk about enemy of the people). Is intolerance of the intolerant an intolerance itself, or is taking a hard line against extremes an extreme... Orwellian double-think at it's height I think! Throw out and bar the hard-working positive contributor and empower the fools with all the time in the world for violent rhetoric. Not my world, never my world, and I continue to be deeply worried for the U.S. and everyone living there. :^(

Having listed]ned to that extract, all I can say is

This sounds like the Presidential equivalent of a drunk ‘I lurv you’ call.

He really does sound drunk in that call, even to the point of slurring
some words

The audio makes it crystal clear that Trump sees himself as a mob boss.

Threatening a Secretary of State to manufacture votes to steal an election?? Watergate seems to pale in comparison.

And yet there are still millions of people willing to believe his crap. It's astounding.

We are living with the result of an entire political party realizing that there is no such thing as a crime....if nobody bothers to enforce the law.

Trump has committed SEVERAL acts that in another time and place would have seen him ousted from DC and in front of a judge.  But years and years of the GOP grooming their electorate with propaganda (FOX News) and years and years of consolidating power in the legislature (Mitch McConnell being reelected time and again) has allowed them to simply ignore wrongdoing and corruption.

In fact, the likes of Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Tom Cotton and other lay awake at night dreaming of becoming the next, SMARTER Donald Trump.

Absolutely nothing will come of this phone call.  The only revelation is how low we have sunk as a result of this man being President.

D.A.P.: "Absolutely nothing will come of this phone call." Oh, but a man must dare to hope. I have a fantasy that President Murder, on Jan 20 at 12:01, will be hit with summons like a blizzard of justice. For EVERYTHING. Surely enough to drive him broke with attorney fees before it's all over and done. "Wait a minute, what's this about a public defender? How much does that cost? Is it a woman? A black? A Hispanic? I dunno..."

Given no US president has ever been removed by impeachment, what is the precedent for this claim?

I don't disagree with your general statement about wrongdoing and corruption, but the history books tell us it is very hard to be impeached and even harder to be removed by impeachment from the role of president.

Look at Reagan: secretly sold arms to Iran, which congress had forbidden. And he didn't even get impeached!
