Agnew was as criminal, if not more, than Nixon. He was exited from his office as VP because of his activity in Maryland. I don't know how much was common knowledge at the time, but I am fairly certain Roger Stone saw first hand how the Attorney General MUST be in the pocket of a criminal President of VP if any criminal activity is to be done. Hence, Bill Barr and Jeff Sessions.
It will be difficult for the police to explain their response away as ignorance. People from Idaho knew to come?! My favorite so far is Jake Angeli from Arizona. He is the Q Anon Shaman from Arizona that should not be hard to find. I hope every single person that can be identified and arrested is brought up on charges. I hope Merrick Garland makes them all wish he was on the Supreme Court instead AG.

Guys, the reason he’s not attending the inauguration is that he will be out of the country. He leaves the country as president and is immune to arrest, then after Biden is inaugurated and Trump no longer holds the position, he’s already somewhere else away from where New York can’t arrest him.

Wherever President Murder goes, he will be surrounded by a parcel of Secret Service agents, until the inauguration - at which time, any warrants come into play, and wouldn't it be nice of those agents to cooperate?
Maybe 45 just wasn't invited to be anywhere on the platform? I couldn't get up there, for example.

I wish they would hold off on making any arrests until after trump is out of offce, I'm guessing he will do a pardon for any of his followers who are arrested before he leaves.

When asked about 45 not attending the inauguration, the look on Biden face at this afternoon's press conference was priceless.
Biden said he doesn't want him there. But VP Pence is welcomed.
Why should Biden have him in attendance? I wouldn't want 45 there either. After basically threatening the lives of all US lawmakers by sending Vanilla ISIS to the Capitol, they indirectly caused the deaths of 5 people, including a LEO ("I love my boys in blue!"). He deserves a beatdown by every member of congress.

People are saying Dems shouldn't impeach Trump again because of what he might do, but honestly, what's he going to do that he hasn't done or isn't doing already?? "We must heal the nation & promote unity...." by letting his antics slide???
NOPE... there must be serious, substantial consequences for Trump’s sedition.

I'm sure many on both sides just want the next couple of weeks to fly by and not go thru the impeachment process again and just be done with him. But a successful impeachment of Trump would ensure he could not run for office ever again. The peace of mind I could get from that would make the whole thing beyond worth while.

The most dangerous time in an abusive relationship is trying to leave. Like his wife said, Trump hits back twice as hard.

Business Insider quotes an unnamed NATO intelligence official as saying this:
"The defeated president gives a speech to a group of supporters where he tells them he was robbed of the election, denounces his own administration's members and party as traitors, and tells his supporters to storm the building where the voting is being held.
"The supporters, many dressed in military attire and waving revolutionary-style flags, then storm the building where the federal law-enforcement agencies controlled by the current president do not establish a security cordon, and the protesters quickly overwhelm the last line of police.
"The president then makes a public statement to the supporters attacking the Capitol that he loves them but doesn't really tell them to stop. Today I am briefing my government that we believe with a reasonable level of certainty that Donald Trump attempted a coup that failed when the system did not buckle.
"I can't believe this happened."
