"Misinformation over the election fell by 73% after Trump being banned from social media"________________________________
Yep. And Trump had been violating Twitter and Facebook's terms of service for years. So why didn't they ban him sooner? I'll give you 51 billion rea$on$ as to why: LINK
News needs a new Fairness Doctrine and social media needs regulated. Until those things happen, any bad actor from Trump to Putin to China can broadcast their propaganda straight to American citizens. And thanks to social media's algorithms, disinformation will generally go unchallenged.

The final full day of Trump administration is here. Just another 28+ hours to go at this typing.

So, will the man child rage at the walls of the White House, try to launch a nuclear weapon, or crawl into a corner and blub?
Which will it be?
I guess we have at least managed to see what America would have been like had the other side won. And seen just how deep the schism is in the country.
Watching an interview of some idiot stood outside a government building with a semi-automatic weapon, capable of firing 45 rounds a minute, claiming that they pose no threat and are there to protect the building in case someone else creates a threat. Claiming that the machine gun is just like the musket of old (capable f the dizzying shot rate of what, 2 rounds per minute?).
This mess is not over by a long shot. Because the culture that Trump managed to tap into and galvanise, is the culture/belief that nutters with guns can unilaterally appoint themselves as the protectors of all that is right with the country from all that is wrong with the country. And unfortunately, what they see as right/wrong with the country is the antithesis of a democratic society.

I’ve been anticipating a long list of A Holes getting pardons in the next 28 hours, but haven’t heard a peep. I’m trying to stay detached from the BS, but I feel like Ripley trying to leave while a clam voice counts down to destruction.

I know no one means any harm by it but for myself I wish we could dispense with the "nuclear war" comments/jokes - it's not funny and very unsettling given who we are talking about.

The attempt to lift the travel ban can't be viewed as anything other than an attempt to burn down the house after losing his job.

*************************** Part of the reason why I wish they had not started arresting any of the insurrectionists until after Biden was inaugurated.

Marc B. - I didn't bring it up as a joke, nor to be ironic. I brought it up as a deadly serious threat. Talk to me in 24 hours and I will gladly rescind any comments I made.

In less than 24 hours (as of this posting), COVID-45 will be "presidential" history.
I hope this will be one of the smoothest 23 hours of all time.
Fingers crossed.

If Trump pardons any of the insurrectionists and the paperwork is still in the Oval Office as of 12:01 pm tomorrow, I hope it conveniently `goes missing'.
(I also hope Trump is wearing handcuffs at 12:01, but that's not going to happen.)

The "My Pillow" guy is now crying about outlets dropping his pillow.
And I hope many more outlets drop his product.
I would rather lay my head on a cinder block before I purchase that shitty pillow!!!
