That copy is from the second “issue,” which features a bunch of the team in civvies!

I am so looking forward to seeing every issue.  Whether on the stands or here in the forum.

Original art question - are these going to be inked on the page, or inked via overlay? And will Jim be selling pages at some point in the future?

Something Chris Claremont might have requested!

Although, iirc, he might have suggested something more like "Ororo is in the
mansion, talking to Kitty while wearing, let's say, jeans and a t-shirt."

Happy to hear this

I never cared for the name "Shadowcat"

Edited to make "Shadowcat" one word...

JB: Before anyone gets too excited, remember there is an 800lb gorilla in the room. One that was introduced years after I left UNCANNY--but introduced by me (with help).

---

I assume you mean this gorilla...

I’m not hoping anything other than for this series to actually happen.

“Shadowcat” showed up, as I recall, around the time of publication of Robert Heinlein’s novel THE CAT WHO WALKED THROUGH WALLS.

I’ve asked that they be shot to blue line for inking.

And, yes, whatever happens Jim will eventually be selling the pages.
