Going back on that Thing piece, I notice 3 or 4 too visible perfect round shapes that were probably useful in the design but maybe necessary to erase a little in the finished work (one inside of the right elbow, on the left knee and 1 or 2 the left arm)
correcting anatomy errors

The pencils are pretty tight. I'd assume what is there is supposed to be there.

My first attempt at inking on my iPad Pro with the new Apple Pencil. (I had one a few years ago, but it feels like I'm re-learning this).

Wow, really loses a lot in reduction!•• It can take a while to learn how to use the reduction. Ideally, it ADDS to the quality of the printed page, which is the main reason the pages are not drawn a publication size. In my collection I have two double-page spreads from the first SUPERMAN vs THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, which was actually drawn printed size. It is a testament to the inkers (Dick Giordano and Terry Austin, mostly) that no quality is lost.* _____________________ * In the Seventies, Marvel tried to save money by having double-page spreads drawn on regular stock turned sideways, so the printed pages were close to actual size. The inkers (most of them) did not adjust, and these pages stuck out like sore thumbs.

I know this is called "pencil practice..." but can I just say how excited I am for your WRITING of Elsewhen! I'm so looking forward to that amazing balance of triumph and tragedy that you do so well (as in your FF run, or Alpha Flight, or ST: Crew---all brilliant works!)

In my collection I have two double-page spreads from the first SUPERMAN vs THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, ** SUPERMAN vs. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAM is easily my favorite comic of all time. I was 10 when it came out. Which two spreads do you have? Do you know of place where I can see the pages?

While ELSEWHEN is still hypothetical in some respects, we know that a certain
amount of it ALREADY EXISTS. Actually.

So.....I managed to scratch that itch and make this feel more like a proper First Issue without having to redo--or dump-- the whole thing. Added an "epilog" to the first two pages, bridging from the end of the UNTOLD STORY, and setting up the subplot that will percolate in the background for the first twelve issue. Sadly, this meant sacrificing two pages, including the very first one drawn! But, I'm sure that will find its way into the "series" at some point. (Not as a cover, before anyone jumps to that contusion!)
