Trevor: Slight drift, but it seems a shame to see those pages go | from Jim to a re-seller, rather than a fan snapping them straight up from Jim. Such is the free market though.

Oh man! Bummer!! I’m dying to own pages from this series. How much were they marked up by Coollines?

There are too many “collectors” who do not appreciate pencil art, and too many inkers who have no qualms about “finishing” such pieces. (As noted, in my early days in fandom I was even guilty of this a few times myself!)

Just curious- how many unused ELSEWHEN pages have been turned over to Mr. Warden, JB?

BTW- my question was not designed to try and figure out how many pages were cut and therefore speculate on the story. I'm just curious how many pages have been 'released into the wild'...

I was kind of hoping that I'd be able to buy pages directly from Jim, so that the money actually goes to JB and not a random dealer.

Scott: Thus far, JB has released a total of three pages from ELSEWHEN to me to sell. ALL of these pages were cut from the current storyline and JB confirmed that they will not be included in future continuity. All three of these pages have been sold.
Trevor: I started a new thread about my attending the Comic Art Convention the week before the show. I set up at each of those shows and visit JB the day before to pick up new artwork to offer for sale. Rich from Cool Lines artwork bought the pages from me at the show, the pages WERE NOT offered to him privately before the convention.
Nathan: Click on the links provided to the pages and you will see that the pages are NOT priced on the Cool Lines site. Such is the business model for much of the artwork offered there!
Jason: You WILL be able to buy pages directly from me; my e-mail address is: capshockeyfan@yahoo.com
Everyone Interested in ELSEWHEN Pages: JB will not be offering any of the ELSEWHEN pages that are part of the current continuity for sale until their publication status is certain. If JB decides to cut any additional pages from the story, at his discretion, these may be offered for sale.
Once the publication status of the ELSEWHEN pages is determined, and JB gives the green light, the pages will be offered for sale. I WILL post a new thread to the Forum once the pages are available.

It makes me so happy knowing that some day, in some format, somewhere, I'll get to read some JB stories with the characters I knew and loved! That Avenger's page is amazing!

I emailed the Coollines guys - $6k for one of the pages, $7k for the other. Good news is I cant imagine anyone paying that much and then having someone else ink over it?

I think you may be right, Jason. But never underestimate the rich and stupid.

Sorry Jim, I should have been clearer - my thought was that it's a shame that a fan was beaten to the punch by a re-seller, not that I believed they were offered to a re-seller first. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

But I cannot really imagine anyone paying those prices in the first place. They’re 3 and almost 4 times what Jim charged!
