Scratch that. If I correctly recall, the sentinel Ashley controls uses some kind of gas to defeat Beast, and she wouldn't know about that.

I thought it was cute, and fit the character.------------------------------------------
In my 13 year old mind, having memorized the interviews in "The Art of John Byrne", when Kitty ended up with "Sprite" instead of "Ariel" in issue 139, it designated that we were now reading in the definitive "other" timeline than the one planned pre-Death of the Phoenix; where Ariel and Caliban would've been two of the "new class of X-Men".

Wallace et. al., I think that Stan slipped on his naming conventions in his very first Marvel* comic. Unless you can discern what Mr. Fantastic or the Thing can do from those names. Of course, we all have to get our footing at the first.
As for Kitty's code name... I would propose the Wisp. But then, we'd get confusion between X-Men and Not Brand Echh.

…how about X-Cube…•• That's a bit too Batman for me. I don't think of the X-Men using "x" for anything more than the name of their team. (Professor X being the exception--but that's actually his name!)

Decided to go with "Safe Room". Updated accordingly.

Another WOW page.
That first panel. Heck, the entire page. Just when I thought I knew what direction this story was heading....
JB - Not only are you throwing heat. You're packing many of curves in this epic story.

Hmmm... If the "real Jean" is in a cocoon at the bottom of a Jamaica Bay, is this the "real Lilandra" we are seeing on Earth?
