JB - Are you actively drawing the characters in the Watcher's alternate timeline to be a little younger than the present day versions?

•••

Not consciously. They should be the same age as their “Earth One” doppelgängers. (Younger in the flashbacks.)

Magneto would be older, of course.

Sorry, that's what I meant - the language to describe flashbacks in an alternate reality somewhat eluding me.

Is Scarlet Witch's middle (girdle?) a nod to Vision? I like
it.

OK, so Wanda is very dangerous!

I like the way you convey the casual ease with which Magneto wields his powers.

Wanda seems to be afraid of her own power! I mean, yes, she could be afraid of a number of things in this situation; but the choice of "moment" seems to imply that she's scared as hell of using her hexes. Mind you, I might be horrified if I had no idea what would happen as well. The panel could have fallen; or Scott could have just exploded.

And I would be keen on a Scott - Wanda romance, even though it seems unlikely at this moment.

I have long been astounded by Magneto's power to lift humans by the metal on their person. For example, I can't imagine Scott has enough magnetic metal on him to be lifted by Magneto's power. And if it's the iron in his blood, I might think it would just tear itself out of his body; anyone who's ever scratched themselves knows that the human body's skin isn't all that strong. I may well be mistaken, but that's how I see it.

Of course, I'm likely overthinking it. It's a magnetic force field; it can probably lift up whatever it surrounds, a la Sue Richards (or is it Storm at this time?)

Mr. Byrne, I am amazed at the levels you consistently exceed EVERY SINGLE DAY. Amazing!

I was just looking at the general shape mixed with vertical
sections - it reminded me of Vision.
