And like that, the battle begins.

You're damned right Jean-m doesn't have telepathic powers. They were triggered and trained by Professor Xavier... whom Jean-M never met.

And Magneto vs Xavier again. Ahh... the classics are the best.

I look forward to enjoying the hell out of this sequence. I especially hope (perhaps foolishly) to Bobby, Hank, and Warren show up to battle their M-Men counterparts. WHAT FUN!!!

Love that I guessed right that the evil X-Men would not have had the same experiences thus there would be differences.  Logically 'Mean Jean' never was trained by Xavier thus never learned how to activate her mind powers beyond TK.  As others are saying, that experience fighting those much more powerful and even losing sometimes has taught 'our' X-Men how to fight better.  Fully alert Wolverine would be as sneaky as any of these alt-X-Men but sadly he isn't around yet (if ever again - wondering where that will go over the coming months).  This is fun to read.

Part of my wondering about the Avengers vs Mutants battle was whether or not the bounding Beast was on the former's roster. I am purposely avoiding sharing any speculation about who may be showing up to this fight though.

JB you manage to bring some much evil in these "real X-Men" faces, it's incredible.

It had occurred to me that the title of this issue was a cautionary note not just for our heroes -- but also for their foes.  Nicely done JB!

Jean G: "And what are you supposed to be, Red? Me, if I had no taste?"

Ha!! Nice!

Of all the Jean Greys running around the ELSEWHEN continuity, I like the real
one the best.

That second panel, the two Jeans, is just a true work of art! Unbelievably good stuff!

Keep in mind, Wallace, that Magneto “recruited” these mutants on more or less the same timeline as did Xavier. So this Hank McCoy would not have joined the Avengers—in any form!

I was raised with sisters, been married for decades and have raised a daughter.  That snippy conversation between Jean and Alt-Jean was so spot-on it made me laugh out loud!

My wife is the middle of three redheaded sisters, the only kids of two redheaded parents. When it gets snippy, it gets SNIPPY. And then it gets mean.

Alt-Scott has a more powerful optic blast.

Alt-Jean (MEAN Jean! I love that John Northey) does not have telepathic powers.

Dare I say that we may see an entirely different Hank McCoy, vocabulary wise, than we're used to?
