I get in trouble when I say this, but I genuinely believe Trump is Obama's true, if unintended, "legacy". If 44 hadn't made fun of The Man with No Sense of Humor, Orange Don would not have felt the need for revenge, and would most likely not have run for President in the first place.

Trump and the presidency has been bandied about for many decades. And maybe he would've gone for it anyway. But it's pretty hard to deny that Obama's thumb in his eye wasn't a prime motivation. Trump certainly had no foresight that he would win or even survive very long in the race. He just wanted a national stage to rage.

We need to stop analyzing his presidency... it's been a CANCER on our democracy and he should be prevented from running for ANY public office. We need to repair the damage he's done.

Regardless of what he took from the White House, my question(s) revolve around why he took them. It’s obvious he wanted them because they were not torn up and flushed down a toilet. So why does he want them? Did he steal secrets he wants to sell to the highest bidder? Did he steal secrets at someone’s request? Did he steal secrets to bargain for his freedom? I have lots of questions regarding how he intended to use these documents. It can’t possibly be incriminating because he would have destroyed them if that were the case.

From this Black man's POV, I do not find this as something to get in trouble with, JB. The Orange doG could not take a joke, especially from and Black man that was President at that time. Plus, there were (and still are) many folks that were pissed that Obama was in the WH for 8 years.
8 years too many.
Also, you just insulted many of Paste Pot Pete supporters........... :-)

Many of the Orange doG's motives are out of money and respect.
If he could get a few billion (THAT'S BILLION w/ a "B") for nuclear secrets, he would sell the US down the toilet in a heartbeat.
