Sure Matt.  It has drifted off-topic.  Sorry for my part in thread-drift.

The problem with this “drift” is that it gets to the heart of Trump’s agenda.

Trump’s self-coup is essentially over. He spoke almost 2 hours of total
nonsense last night and it wouldn’t have mattered even if it was coherent.
Elon Musk has led a Junta into our government, seizing control of multiple
government agencies and their valuable data on us, the American people.

Now: Trump is the ceremonial head of state and Musk is the head of
government.

What they both are working hardest upon is achieving Putin’s wish-list and
giving him everything they can that will diminish America’s opportunity to
oppose him.

If Europe does not become independently able to defend itself, starting with
Ukraine, the new U.S./Russia/China Axis powers will drive a world-wide
corruption racket into power, erasing democracies all over the world.

Another Trump corruption topic worth attention right now is the idea of a
“crypto-reserve”— essentially a less stable version of the economic time-
bomb that blew up the world economy in 2008.

I heard the insight that it was Wall Streets big lesson in 2008 that they
almost destroyed the world, and yet basically no one got in trouble for it.

This time, we have Kash Patel and Pam Bondi to keep us safe. Thank Doge!

How about you guys agree to disagree and move on to some of the batshit
crazy that Trump waxed not poetically on last night?
*****
Something tells me Brennan might not think it was batshit crazy.

Brian sorry.  I'm not a Trump man, although before it came down to Trump vs. Harris I did like RFK Jr's foreign policy views (although not his anti-science health views), and I have always liked Tulsi.

I didn't vote last election.

Mark yes, I agree - the crypto ideas are the same as all the other speculative bubbles in history.  This is what monetarists do.

Seeing Musk and Trump championing this free trade, chainsaw-wielding lunatic Milei is really something.  It's insane.

Ha ha, if I was for Trump I would just say so.  Why not?  I would be the biggest "Trumper" there is.

It is as if saying someone likes Tulsi Gabbard, who was a Democrat, is some kind of treason.

If someone switched from MAGA Republican to Democrat, Trump would call
them treasonous.

There has rarely been a more appropriate use of the "ignore" button than I am about to apply.
