And confirmation, finally, on the twins.  Either as a double pack or one at a time, this is what they will look like.  The AF figures have been pretty disappointing.  I'm not getting Snowbird, and I still haven't picked up Puck and Sasquatch (Midtown isn't helping there).  They might strike gold here, though.  Crossing my fingers, though I still have my customs which I like a lot.

Northstar's part is on the wrong side.  :^)  The nitpicking has begun.

Northstar and Aurora look pretty good, so far. A teeny tiny part of my brain objects to the poses "forcing" me to place them next to each other (I would prefer them to bracket the rest of Alpha), but if the paint jobs are good, I will be getting these.

And if the paint jobs are bad, I may get 'em anyway, and just repaint them. If I can turn the Silver Surfer into Guardian, I can do ANYTHING!!

Still haven't figured out who I can use for a good Snowbird conversion, tho.

I like the Magik piece.  Not sure I'll get it as then I'll feel obligated to collect other New Mutant figures.  See if I can hold out.

No room in my collection -- or my heart -- for Magik. She pretty much encapsulates a serious wrong turn the X-Books took not long after I left, as it began to seem that EVERYBODY in them had super powers.

For a while there, it seemed that Claremont was writing about
everything but mutants! (but that's a discussion for another day, I
know).

Still, it's a darn good-looking figurine! Probably one of the best of the
series.

They should've left out the eldritch energy on the sword, though.

There's only Cannonball and Magik so far...

Maybe a person could set up a flash bulb connected to a motion sensor which could be then set up behind Northstar and Aurora?  It would probably get to be annoying after a while.

There are days when I envy people for whom collecting stuff like this is "not their thing"!
