It seems that Eaglemoss had a BIG problem with the "stability" of the black Spidey...some time ago, he was not available for several weeks...maybe to cure the"vertigo" problem?? and for the FF ,I agree with you,Reed is too"static"(many of the figs are too "static"!!!) and for Sue,I have a solution....I put an empty base between Reed and Ben...Invisible Woman in action...

Ryan :- "Torch could be a bit better"
I agree, the colours are pretty dull and the way he's standing makes him look a little odd, like he's pretending to fly but isn't. If only he'd been coloured like the flame on Ghost Rider's head! Ironically the Torch is one of the darkest figures!
The other members of the FF are great in my opinion, although I'd like to have seen the Ultimate Nullifier in Reed's hand! The blue colour used for the uniforms is consistant across the 3 figurines, which is nice. Overall, I think they look great as a foursome!
Just heard that Yellowjacket and Wasp have turned up in Forbidden Planet (London) today!

I have been thinking about applying some clear nail polish to the Torch, to
make him shiny. I think this might help him look a bit more like he's aflame.

I guess it must be very difficult to reproduce the Human Torch's flame 'halo'(?) 'aura'(?) for anyone reproducing him in 3D. The varnish might just work, perhaps applying it after repainting him with a slightly brighter red and yellow?

The best repaint of torch I have seen is one with him in the blue uniform, just staring to catch light, I will try and dig out the image so you can see what I mean.
found it:

I like the idea of experimenting with these figures. The only problem is, if I mess something up, it might be next to impossible to replace them.

What's with Ultron in that shot? Doesn't look like the "official" version.

I may be wrong but I don't think these figs are limited. I don't think they ran off 5000 Spider-Man's (Spider-Men?), and stopped making them. I think they just keep producing figs as needed.

Speaking of repaints, has anyone stripped the paint off these figures? I'm debating on repainting a couple of my figures (Cap and Thor) but I'd want to strip them first. The more you paint over them the more detail you lose.
