I know they aren't limited, but I'm not seeing a huge supply in the US available, especially of the earlier figures.  I paid over $20 for Captain America on eBay.  I guess you can just be patient and wait for supply to catch up with demand, but this is an addiction we're talking about.  The UK is a possible source, but they really get you with shipping.

For paint stripping I use Nitromors, does a grand job but chews up the bases so don't get it on ther ;-)  There are lots more customs on show on my site and superherofigurineforum.

This thread is just dangerous. I see new figures I want every day, and now I see that my local comic shop actually has a few of them, and can probably get me more. I have a rec room in my new house that I could use to display them. But I have a new house payment. No disposable income. Must........resist.

Just picked up Yellowjacket and Wasp. The painting of Wasp is gorgeous, so intricate, she must be 5mm tall! I could swear mine is looking longingly at Yellowjacket!

You guys in the US are having issues getting your hands on these figurines. I have problems getting Bowen busts/statues over hear (our speciality shops charge at least twice as much as they do in the US). Perhaps we can work out some kinda trade? I don't know exactly how we'd do it but I know that I don't want to pay £60 ($120) each for the Bowen Puck or Black Knight busts when they come out! Anyone interested?

Thanks Gerry, £60 was probably a bit of an exaggeration for those 2, but some of the larger Bowen busts are sold for that sort of price in comic shops in London. Surely, Puck at £35 ($70) and Black Knight at £40 ($80) are still twice the price that they'd be in the US?

I'll definately give Incognito a try though, thanks. Actually, I just realised I bought my Bowen Galactus off those guys. Got a good price too.

I found a not-broke hawkeye at my LCS so I just replaced him but sadly I
found that the hood on my Green Goblin is broken. I didn't notice that
before. I guess I'm gonna have to follow JB's lead and clean that section of
the library myself.

That's what I do.  I don't let the cleaning ladies touch my desk along with several other things 'round the house (accidental cleaning solvent on a DLP screen would NOT be good!).

Yep - also noticed a finger missing from my Metamorpho vs. Super Skrull
clock. And Metamorpho has yet to grow it back so I guess fixing it is up to
me.

Anybody know of a better solution than milliput?

Picked up Mysterio.

All I need now is Vulture to make up the Sinister Six (already have Kraven, Doc Ock, Electro and Sandman).
