I almost had to pick up that figure that is supposed to be Ironman. Heck, I have just about all the Avengers, I really had to fight with myself not to get it! That's not Ironman to me, but there is that pull to complete the group. I'm holding firm;

"NO RED AND GOLD ROBOT! NO RED AND GOLD ROBOT!"

"oh come on, just buy it. No one would have to know."

"RED AND GOLD ROBOT! NO RED AND GOLD ROBOT! NO RED AND GOLD ROBOT!"

"Well, what about that blue ape with the funny shorts? I think he's  supposed to be with the X-Men."

The "red and gold robot" is easier to justify, since it springs from internal story logic (Stark frequently modifies the armor) than the kitty-kat beast, which springs solely from the whims of the writer.

Don't all changes spring from the whims of the writers, you ask? Sure. But good ones don't spring just from those whims.

Hm. Just checked the Eaglemoss site, and they list the upcoming figures as Psylocke,
The Vulture, Professor Xavier, The Leader and Carnage. No mention of the Rhino.
Wonder what happened to X and the others?

They don't tend to mention specials in the figurine list.

No sign of him in the specials either though. Might not be out for a while.

I'd say the ones you listed will be shown once Black Bolt is out (he's the last one pictured).

Hi JB, the upcoming figs info is just for the "standard" issues.  RHINO will be in the specials category and won't feature on the EM site until general release to subscribers.  I am hoping that Alan Cowsill will come up trumps and let us have sneak peeks of the Prof-X and Carnage figures before they go live on the EM site.  I also hope that the problems they had with the Xavier sculpt, delaying his initial  release, have been overcome and he is still in the next 5......fingers crossed :-)

I did something I have never done. I modified one of the toys I brought home. Sure, it's not that big a deal, but for me it was a first. The change was that I painted Luke Cage's legs black. Not only was it a simple job, it was a necessary one as well. The figure is 100% better now (even though the paint itself was somewhat shiny and the legs appear leather).

I am one step away from coloring Cyclops to the Adams/Cockrum/Byrne/Smith version...

Despite the use of more "modern" versions of some characters, those are quite incredible in pose and detail. And to see characters such as Super-Skrull and Dormammu?? Awesome. I'm not a figurine collector (robots are more my style), but I'd go for those.

Electro and Cable arrived today!  Had my first "broken in transit" problem, where one of Electro's glove bolts has snapped off.  Bit of glue and it's back though!

Cable's body looks  a little too big for his head though....

Dormammu next!

Steve, has Fatsal posted an updated checklist on your website?  I tried to find it without luck.  This one is from October.  I kind of enjoy going through and ticking off what I have and so on...

Thanks!
