Totally looking forward to getting Hercules. The Avengers figures, minus Iron Man, have been spot on perfect, and I think Hercules may be the best of the bunch, in sculpt and attitude.

Hercules looks good, but unfortunately they opted for the McFarlanized
Leader, which is down there with the kitty-cat Beast as far as being "Classic".

What number is Hercules? Is he a special?
Haven't seen him on the list. I see Blackbolt, Vulture, Prof X, the Leader and Carnage next.

Hercules is replacing Prof X as # 68. Apparently, Eaglemoss aren't happy the way Prof X's wheelchair is turning out.

Why did Beast mutate into a blue cat? I didn't read those issues, but it
doesn't seem like a...proper progression.

Internal explanation, "secondary mutation".
External explanation, it was what the writer wanted.

Ah...
Well, there was nothing to suggest "feline" in the blue, furry Beast, so I was
curious. Perhaps someone will take it back at some point.

I have noticed an increasing amount of marketing material these days seems
to be featuring the classic Beast. This ad from Kids Headquarters, for
example, features Wolverine in his new costume, but the old-style Beast. I
suspect the cat Beast won't last more than another year or two.

The writer only used Beast because he couldn't use Moira McTaggart.
Thanks for the heads up on Herc. The Avengers are really adding up.
