Speaking of Randy -- a new addition, straight from the source. . .

(For which, much thanks!)

Not a fan of THAT particular Guardian (or Vindicator, as it was called).  (as discussed earlier in the thread).   I'm hoping a JIM MADDOX version sees light of day soon (either through Bowen or through commission).

Even though John Byrne, the character's creator, has said that he prefers the shine / metalic look -- I just can't warm to it.  My mental version of the costume (since X-Men 109 almost 30 years ago) was cloth covering a cybernetic/mesh suit -- he was wearing his country's flag - not a foil balloon version of the flag.

BUT - JB has ruled that the metalic look is what he has envisioned the costume to be --- and so I must accept it.

Still -- the helmet on that bust just isn't right...

I'd never pictured it as metallic before, either.

Now, I can't stop!

(And looking back at JB's Guardian, I can totally see that that was what he
was going for - huge amount of blacks on that maple leaf for it to just be
the standard red of the flag...)

I love the paint job, the pose looks a little...I don't know...like a model trying to look casual while still showing off their physique
