I always saw it as a darker red than that used on the flag -- a deep deep red that caught the light and had brighter red highlights, but clearly red.

I think Ryan was making a joke - referring to the ongoing hair-ripping over what coloring/shading is considered "Black with X highlights" or "X with black shadows".

Pat just pointed this one out to me. Looks like the arms and torso are way out of whack with poor Puck's head. The bastard son of Puck and Absorbing Man.

The one you posted is by Jim Maddox and looks like your version, since Jim's love for the characters shows through his sculpts. Both are from Bowen, and I'm not sure why Randy had two different people working on the project.
