JB -- since I mentioned it earlier, out of curiosity, what are your numbers on your Captains?

No biggie -- they're on the bottom of the boxes, too.  I was just curious since it was a brief topic up thread.

Moving right along.....

Puck (Maddox) and HellCat (Maddox) are my next expected arrivals from Bowen (soon).

I've also ordered the Knighthawks -- hoping the Squadron Supreme costume on one variant will mean the Squadron is getting the Bowen treatment.

I only picked up the "classic" Captain this time around--already had the
other G.A. version...

Just received this Bowen mini-bust:

It also comes in a black costume variant.

It's a great bust, and excellently captures John Romita Sr.'s version of Spider-Man. The wire underarm webs are a nice touch.

The only diappointing part is that the red and blue sections are a bit muted--I would have preferred brighter colors.

But this makes a nice compliment to the Ditko-styled Peter Parker mini-bust I got a while back. Now I have busts representing the runs of my two favorite Spider-Man artists.

I was just notified that my Jim Maddox PUCK bust (from Bowen Studios) is FedExing it's way to me.

I am soooo excited -- I'm doing cart-wheels !!!

Just finished painting THIS -- Mon-El.  I'm debating whether to add the artificial shadows. etc.  Not sure yet.

Once Wildfire's kit is ready.  I've not been told it's ready yet.  There are a  couple kits out there I'm looking forward to getting.  This was my FIRST paint job on a bust - it turned out nice, I think.  It just dried after I sprayed it with DullCoate to matte the gloss -- looks really nice on the shelf.

My thanks to the artist and to the commissioner.

Thanks -- if I knew I could paint busts like that, our Superman would have been collecting dust on our shelves by now....(lol)

I think the cape is too dark - but it works since the primer darkened the red of his tunic a little (actually adding some of those artificial shadows without me doing anything) -- the blue dried a lot darker than I expected AND was probably darkened by the primer, too.

NOTES that I need to keep in my head for my next paint job.
