The folk at DC sent me a McFarlane Toys Superman with the Joker’s face. Based on the bit I did in one of my early issues. Very well done, except his chest is wrapped in what I think is supposed to be kryptonite chains, which was not an element of my story. WalMart

Yeah, that is odd. It's a bit of a niche figurine -- you'd have to assume the person it would appeal to is someone who has a deep attachment to that specific story -- so why add the non-faithful-to-the-story kryptonite chains?

Oddly enough, the face sculpt also looks like it's got Jack Nicholson's Joker smile and teeth!

I like that he's keeping watch over your place - no matter what the weather brings! I had to go back and look at it again - he is a nice looking (massive) specimen!

A return to Lego!Not really a TINTIN follower, but I liked the design of his “moon rocket”, so was pleased to see Lego has released a kit. Started to build it a couple of days ago and already beset by the small annoyances that ultimately pushed me away from Lego. Like the incredibly complex interior support structures that will not even be visible when the model is finished. Also, the traditional plastic bags have been replaced with plastic lined paper. Supposedly more eco-friendly, but I am not really sure how!!

Sometimes I think Lego build those inside supports just to extend the build
experience.
My son has the large scale Bowser from Super Mario. It killed his love of
Lego as it was just yellow on yellow on yellow with loads of internal support
that you won’t see, but even that was yellow.
Took him the better part of a year to build and in the end he finished it just
to get the job done.
Not built a thing since.
I regret buying him that one.

I gave up on the moon rocket. Just too many fiddly bits. And, yes, it does seem Lego has more and more been crafting these kits for people who are the only for the building experience. My time with Lego is done.

Is that white semi circle on the forehead supposed to represent glare, or is it
part of the costume design? I googled some images from the show and most
of them have it. It looks like a production defect on the figure.
