The subject matter was nothing special.  Tried for Captain America, but my back-up was "something Westerny with a female character."  The book itself had a lot of Joe's "rough and tumble" guys, but not as much in the way of his lovely ladies so I thought I'd rectify that behind the cover.  (Although I'm still undecided whether or not I'll keep the sketch with the book or cut it and frame it seperately, since I already had a copy of the book.)

The shot I got reminded me of both Cinnamon (obscure back-up character from Weird Westen Tales) and Hawkwoman in civvies so I'm going to pretend it's a pic of one of them. :-) 

Part of me wishes that I'd taken more time to think about what I really wanted, but most of me is counting my blessings that I checked out this thread in time to find out about the offer while it was still available.  I mean, heck, JOE KUBERT drew ME a picture!  (swoon!)

Number 92 arrived safely yesterday. I was really blown away by the sketch! I was smiling ear to ear. I read the book for about 20 minutes, looked at the sketch again, closed the book and gave it a little kiss before putting it down. Upon seeing this display of affection for my new little gem, my wife immediately called me a "freak". She might be right! Who cares, I got my Kubert sketch!! WOOHOO!!
