Thanks Roger.  I like Brunner's style a lot.  I think he did a splendid job on this Batman, which to me feels like an old movie poster.  I've received a bit of flak over the fact that Batman is carrying

Brunner thinks Batman should carry a gun apparently.  I know I've seen another Brunner Batman commission where he's armed with two guns....in fact, I think that's one of Ari's too.

That Batman with the two guns makes me think Brunner would draw a fantastic The Phantom.

LOVE those Brunner Batman pages! I especially dig the bat symbol on the holster in the first one.

I could have sworn I posted these already, but I just went through all 69 pages of this thread and couldn't find 'em.  Here are my three Brunner pieces (one of which might be of particular interest to Ari):

Yep.  The Cap piece is also a rough.  He had a second rough of the Cap vs. Skull as well, with a different "camera" angle.  I actually had passed on the Batman rough at the time (Motor City Con, May 2007), but at WizardWorldChicago, a dealer had it for sale.  He had traded it to Brunner for some a Golden Age book or two.  Sold it to me for Brunner's original asking price, even!

Dave- Yeah, I got the email.  Just haven't gotten around to replying because of work.  Check your mailbox in the next couple of days though!
